Over the past 25 years of caring for amputees, I learned the most important thing is to listen.  Every person is unique and so are their needs.  Whether I’m dealing with a 30 year old farmer or an 75 year old retired teacher, they get what is most important; my full attention and by doing an extensive history on your individual needs and goals, we will come up with a plan that is best for you.  Another concern for some amputees when it comes to a prosthesis is cost.  O&P Services are on all major insurance plans and can offer a finance plan if needed.  Most importantly, don’t let the fear of the cost prevent you from coming in and having a consult.  All initial consults are free.
